The prime purpose of these pages is to provide exhibition space for photographic class I teach. However this page provides some background personal information. Paraphrasing Jack Duckworth, I am approaching the prime of my life and career. By profession I am a soil scientist (chemist) and work for AgResearch, the largest state owned research company in New Zealand. AgResearch concentrates on pastoral research. I am based at the Ruakura Research Centre, in Hamilton, New Zealand. More information about AgResearch and the Ruakura Research Centre can be obtained from its web site. I have had a long interest in photography. and teach photograph in night classes at the Hillcrest High School in Hamilton New Zealand. Apart from this I occasionally earn some money from paid photographic projects and usually invest that in new equipment or film. To use and develop a signature that I have come across on the mailing lists: "I hope I haven't taken my best photograph yet."
